Sylvia Delfino:
Italian Singer, has been living and playing between Turin and
Swindon-Bristol for 8 years. Sylvia trained in England with
Vocal Coach Andrew Hambly-Smith at the Bristol Academy of
Performing Arts ( BAPA), and in Turin, Italy, classical study at
the Regio Theatre with Anna Siccardi and Jazz improvisation
with Vocal Coach Elena Roggero (Voice Craft).

Tobacco Factory Theatre, Bristol and at the Wyvern
Theatre,Swindon. Guest on Keith Warmington’s program on BBC Radio Bristol.
Ursula March in the musical Sweet Charity at the Tobacco Factory Theatre in
Bristol. Paquette in the Leonard Bernstein’s operetta Candide at the
St.Georges’s Hall in Bristol
Steve Laming:
Steve is a Jazz Guitarist and Double Bass Player based in
Swindon, UK. He has been active on the local, and not so
local, music scene for most of the last 30+ years as a semi-
pro and for the last 10 of those, a pro musician.
He has played styles ranging from Trad Jazz and Jazz Funk,
through Blues, Rock, Pop, Rock 'n' Roll, back to Mainstream
Jazz and Gypsy Jazz. Steve has performed as part of various
lineups at the Birmingham Jazz Festival, Marlborough International Jazz
Festival, The UK International Gypsy Jazz Guitar Festival, Swindon Jazz
Festival, Teignmouth Jazz Festival, Cheltenham Fringe Jazz Festival amongst
others.
Rubatempo is a jazz vocal and guitar combo that can perform as two or more
musicians. We frequently add bass and a second guitar or piano, other
instrumentalists are available as required.
