Jazz Quartet's ...
The jazz quartet is probably the classic sound with guitar, drums, bass and piano or lead instrument will give a fullness of sound and rhythmic variation. Or for more melodic diversity guitar, bass, piano and a solo instrument.
in the gypsy jazz or hotclub style, two guitars, bass and violin go a long way to recreating the sound of the famous Quintet du Hotclub de France of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelli.
